My name is Laura Burns, and I have a passion for connecting with people through food and arts of the table. With At Table, I want to explore the practice and craft of hospitality and the art of welcome from ancient times to today. 

My background is varied, ranging from culinary experience as a cooking instructor, cook and caterer, to media work in documentary film and television production, to HR and leadership development roles in Fortune 500 high tech companies.
